In this paper we want to show the activities developed by the Hispanic Association of Paper Historians and the organization of the congresses on the "History of Paper in the Iberian Peninsula". Up to now twelve congresses have taken place and its papers were published including 361 communications covering the last investigations related with the history of paper. A brief description is also included of our exposition “El papel: 2.000 años de Historia”. We relate these activities with those accomplished by our Portuguese colleges and since our last congress our field of study extended to the whole Iberian Península.
