In this Documenta, we present the documentation relating to the Administration of Justice in the city of Lisbon and its surroundings, in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Senado da Câmara (Senate of the Municipal Council), namely the criminal proceedings linked to travessias (unlawful acts), devassas (inquests), regimentos (regulations), in the period between the 17th and the 19th centuries, existing at the Lisbon Municipal Archive.
