Abstract

This Documenta displays a series of photographs relating to the 25 April Revolution. Selected from the collections of the Lisbon Municipal Photographic Archive, these photographs illustrate the context  underlying the creative expression of their authors  during the period 1974-1977: Álvaro Campeão, Ana  Hatherly, António Sampaio Teixeira, António Rafael,  Carlos Gil, José Couto Nogueira, José Ernesto de  Sousa, José Neves Águas, Luis Pavão, Margaret  Martins and the Diário de Notícias newspaper.
